UNRWA Appeal for Donations

Dear friends,

Due to Israel’s on-going military operation “Cast Lead” in Gaza, many innocent Gaza people are living under extreme condition and their suffering is just indescribable. As an agency to assist the Palestinian refugees, UNRWA has setup an online donation for those who seek to help the plight of the Palestinian population in Gaza. It is very easy; just click the below link and you can donate by using your credit card and decide how much you would like to donate.

I would very much appreciate it if you could disseminate this information to your friends, as wide as possible please.

UNRWA also receives in-kind donations such as flour, blankets, hygiene kits, baby milk powder, sugar, tea, canned meat, plastic sheeting, diapers, milk powder and mattresses. These are the 11 items that are in urgent need in Gaza for the moment. If you know any organisation that is willing to donate the aforementioned items to UNRWA, please let me know. If the goods can reach Jerusalem, Ashdod port, Ben Gurion airport, Amman, then UNRWA could arrange transportation to Gaza and deliver them to people in need. No other in-kind items are accepted by UNRWA for the moment due to the challenges we face in arranging the shipment to Gaza, as a result of the military operation.
