YOUTH CAFE 2008 AND INTERFAITH PRAYER VIGIL FOR PALESTINE
2008 June 7 | Quezon City, Philippines
Amen.

Solidarity prayer for the 60th anniversary of the Nakbah
God of History, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, One God of different races. We give thanks for this gathering of the faithful, united by one goal, to end the domination of the forces of darkness. We gaze yonder, and we despair, for bullets now reign over your chosen people and over the land you call most holy. The descendants of your Son Jesus Christ are now enslaved, deprived of the right to live life abundantly, freely, justly. We who are here are people distinct in creed, race and colour, coming together to stand in solidarity with our Palestinian brothers and sisters as they struggle to reclaim their dignity, honour and independence, and to build the foundations of peace based on justice. Make us instruments in achieving this our common dream. This we ask in the name of God and Allah. Amen.
