
People’s Charter on Peace for Life

PROJECT INITIATORS. The initiative to draft the People’s Charter on Peace for Life is led by Dr. Kim Yong-bock from Korea (right), PfL Co-Moderator and chancellor of the Advanced Institute for Integral Study of Life, and Dr. Ninan Koshy from India (middle), political analyst and former executive of the World Council of Churches. The project is supported by other members of the Peace for Life Continuation Committee, key among them, Dr. Ulrich Duchrow from Germany (left), professor of systematic theology at the University of Heidelberg, and Carmencita Karagdag (not in photo), PfL Coordinator. Also instrumental especially in the early stages of the project were Irfan Engineer (India), director of the Centre for Study of Society and Secularism and Institute for Islamic Studies; Prof. Kinhide Mushakoji (Japan), vice president of the International Movement Against All Forms of Discrimination and Racism; and John Jones (Norway), director of The IGNIS Foundation.
